Crispy Tart Crust Crispy Tart Crust
I've always loved the crust part of tarts so much so that I always ate it last. Many recipes call for lining a mold with crust, adding the filling and baking it all together, but for tart crust lovers like me, they always end up tasting uncooked, and I've been disappointed many times. By baking the crust at a high temperature beforehand, it becomes crispy and nutty. The almond flour adds depth to the flavor, so even if the crust is thick, it will be delicious.Having baked many a tart without using pie weights, I've been able to come up with a way to bake a beautiful crust without the weights. If you want to use up the egg, just double the ingredient amounts and for 2 tarts' worth. You can freeze the unbaked dough, and it's on the sweet side too, so it's also delicious rolled and baked as cookies. Recipe by noi mama chan cookpad.japan -
Crown Shaped Brioche Crown Shaped Brioche
I made this rather luxurious crown-shaped brioche as a birthday present for my father. When kneading the dough, if you add all the butter from the start, the bread will become stale faster. As the dough has more flour than butter, make sure that the butter melds, add the butter brought to room temperature in two batches. Recipe by La Land cookpad.japan -
Stick-Shaped Chocolate Chip Melon Bread Stick-Shaped Chocolate Chip Melon Bread
I don't like the stick-shaped melon bread that's sold in stores since it's usually too moist, so I made a version that is crispy, the way I like it. I also have a recipe for a version without chocolate chips - Crispy Stick-Shaped Melon Bread. If using imported bread flour, use 105 g of water for the bread dough. Please adjust the baking temperature and time depending on your oven. Recipe by itarunrun cookpad.japan -
As-Is Orange Jelly As-Is Orange Jelly
I made this hoping that my kids would eat this than using a normal mold. You can of course, make this in a normal jelly mold.Avoid poking holes in the skin when you scoop out the flesh! For about 4 oranges' worth. Recipe by Minimy cookpad.japan -
Crispy Croissants Crispy Croissants
I wanted to make my mom's favorite croissants at home.It is important to continuously chill the dough to keep it from becoming too soft and difficult to work with. It is even better if you also chill your hands before handling the dough. You may also want to turn down the heat in the kitchen. If you should find air bubbles while rolling, try to gently move it toward the edge with the rolling pin to remove it. So Cute! Turtle-Shaped Melon Bread So Cute! Turtle-Shaped Melon Bread
I've made lots of turtle-shaped melon bread before, usually with live yeast but this time I wanted to write an easier recipe that uses more orthodox ingredients. This recipe took a lot of effort but I just really wanted to see my little turtle army at the end. It's going to take a lot of effort to shape these turtles but please try and get it done as quickly as possible! When creating the lattice pattern it's better to make shallow cuts. If they're too deep, the shell can crack. If you don't fix the head and feet on properly with egg whites then they will most likely come off whilst baking. You can use icing instead of white chocolate for the eyes if you prefer. Oil-free☆Crispy☆Cookies Oil-free☆Crispy☆Cookies
I was trying to come up with a cookie recipe that doesn't require oil. Then I created this recipe by referring to a baby biscuit recipe. I'm still experimenting, but I made these crispy and delicious cookies. When you are rolling out the dough, if you wrap it up with plastic wrap, it'll make the job easier. If you use egg yolk mixed with a little bit of water for the glaze, your cookies will be yellow and shiny; if you use milk, they'll end up with a simple look. Recipe by Akito mama cookpad.japan -
