Break Misri in small piece with the help of belan. Wash the rice well, drain and keep aside.

In a deep bottomed pan, Pour the milk in it and Boil on high heat. Once it boils, reduce the flame. Add the rice and bay leaves, mix well. On medium flame cook the rice until boiled. Stir in between, to prevent burning.

Add misri at this stage. Mix well, the misri will dissolve in the milk quickly and nicely. Keep on stirring. Add cardamoms, cashews, and raisins. Mix well. Switch off the flame.

Cool completely at room temperature and serve.
