This is a great winter dish, it has strong flavors of rosemary and garlic.

Ingredients

  1. Potatoes
  2. 4Yukon gold potatoes
  3. 2 tbbutter
  4. Salt
  5. pepper
  6. 3 clovesgarlic
  7. fresh rosemary
  8. olive oil
  9. Steak
  10. 1-2 poundssteak (ny strip, ribeye, or sirloin)
  11. salt

  13. olive oil
  14. 3-5 tbbutter
  15. fresh rosemary
  16. 4-5 clovesgarlic

Cooking Instructions

    Skin the potatoes, cut them into equal size chunks, then rinse under cold water

    Mince 3 garlic cloves, set aside

  3. 3

    With the rest of the garlic just smash with the blade of the knife, set aside

  4. 4

    Cut the steak into bite size pieces, season with salt and pepper

  5. 5

    Heat a cast iron skillet at medium-high heat, add olive oil

  6. 6

    Fry the potatoes until nearly browned

  7. 7

    Heat another skillet as hot at possible, add olive oil, add steak

  8. 8

    Season the potatoes with salt and pepper, add butter, rosemary, and garlic

  9. 9

    Place in 400°f oven

  10. 10

    Keep cooking the steak untill seared (spoon off the excess fat if needed)

  11. 11

    Place steak in separate bowl, add butter, rosemary, and garlic to skillet, cook untill brown

  12. 12

    Add the steak back to the skillet toss to coat

  13. 13

    Take potatoes out of oven, and serve
