A Good Way to Freeze Bell Peppers

This is a lot of prep work , but worth it especially if you have an abundance of these given to you. This recipe helps to keep the pepper as crisp for future uses. This also stops them from freezing/sticking together. When you transfer them from the parchment paper to the bags do so quickly. They defrost quickly when small pieces.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Remove the stem and seeds. Cut thinly into strips. Use these for stir fry, pepper steak, sausage peppers and onions, and so on. I played them out on parchment paper, to allow to freeze individually before, placing the pieces into Ziploc freezer bags.
- 2
Dice some for spaghetti, chili, or other like recipes. Also cut into chunks for kabobs and like recipes. I had 3 layers of parchment paper. Put them into the freezer for 2 hours. Wrote the moth and year on bags with what they were.
- 3
Tag and bag them. I didn't fill the bags to extra full, to use as needed and put the unused back in the freezer. Store them in the freezer for up to 6 months. Serve as needed. I hope you enjoy!! Oh, P. S. I froze 4 whole ones also just remove the stem, seeds, and inside ribbings before freezing.

A Cute Way To Dry Red Chili Peppers A Cute Way To Dry Red Chili Peppers
I make ichimi togarashi (red chili pepper powder) every year at home. I used to dry the chili peppers in a sieve, but the other day when I went to an Italian restaurant I saw a braid of them hanging near the cash register. I turned it around and around to study how it was put together, and as soon as I got home, I tried to recreate it before I forgot how.Press down on the chili peppers with your fingers as you weave them rather tightly. In the photo I used my bare hands, but it may be prudent to put on protective gloves. (Your hands may burn due to the capsaicin.) If you do use your bare hands, be careful not to rub your eyes with them! Recipe by Oguchi cookpad.japan -
How to Freeze Tomato Puree 🌷 How to Freeze Tomato Puree 🌷
Yesterday, I harvested almost 22 pounds of tomatoes from the garden. I left the greener ones for salad, and with the riper ones, which were the majority, I made sauce (which I'll use in the coming days) and tomato puree that I froze for the months ahead. Every year, I make several pounds of tomato preserves, which I use a lot. I prepare them in many ways: I make puree both frozen and in jars, peeled tomatoes, tomato paste, and much more. When I freeze tomato puree in bags, I fill them unevenly, so when I need to use it, I only defrost the amount I need. Francesca Simona NaselliTranslated from Cookpad Italy -

A slightly healthier version of stuffed peppers with cauliflower rice instead. We found that the consistency of the meat and cauliflower when cooked together blends well texturally. And the cauliflower completely takes on the flavor of the meat and seasonings. Turned out to be a hit! joshcs1 -

Colorful Cooked Bell Peppers Colorful Cooked Bell Peppers
This is actually tastier if you bake the pepper slowly in the oven, but it's faster and easier in the microwave. I think cooked peppers taste sweeter and more delicious than raw. Use a large pepper with a firm flesh. The microwaving time will vary depending on how big the peppers are, and the wattage of your microwave oven. Microwave the peppers several times while checking on how they are progressing. If it's hard to peel them, they may not be cooked enough, but if you microwave the peppers too long they will burn, so watch out for that. Recipe by Heartful Kitchen Rei cookpad.japan -
