This snack is a complete crowd pleaser. You will need to always make provisions to fry extra vadas whenever you make them because you will not be able to keep a count of how many you eat! Also, this is a perfect for Tea time snack 🙂

Ingredients

30 minutes
Tea Time Snack
  1. 1/2 cupChickpeas daal/ chana daal
  2. 1/4 cupyellow mung daal
  3. 1/8 cupmasoor daal
  4. 2 tbspUrad Daal
  5. 1onion
  6. 1/2 cupfinely chopped palak
  7. 3Green chillies
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. Oil for frying
  10. as neededCoconut chutney

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes

    Clean,wash and sock all the lentils for 3-4 hrs in warm waters.
    After that drain the water and coarsely crush,then put the mixture in the strainer for at least an hour to drain the excess water.

    Now chop the palak,onion and green chillies.
    Transfer the mixture in the bowl.
    Add onion, chopped palak,finely chopped green chillies and salt.
    Mix well.

  3. 3

    Heat the oil in a Karai.
    Take a small portion of the mixture on the fingers and tap to make flat vada. And put it in the oil. fry them light golden brown.
    Remove on kitchen paper.
    Place the vada in the serving dish with the coconut chutney and enjoy..
