Ingredients

20-30 Cookies
  1. 3/4 CupButter (softened)
  2. 1 CupSugar (plus more for rolling)
  3. 1/4 CupMolasses
  4. 1Egg
  5. 2 CupsAll-Purpose Flour
  6. 2 TeaspoonsBaking Soda
  7. 1/2 TeaspoonGinger
  8. 1/2 TeaspoonSalt
  9. 1 teaspoonCinnamon

Cooking Instructions

    Mix Sugar, Molasses and Egg into the Butter, and beat well until smooth.

    Sift together the Flour, Baking Soda, Ginger, Salt and Cinnamon.

    Add dry ingredients to the first mixture, mix well and chill in the fridge for about an hour.

    Form in balls and roll in Sugar. Place balls on a greased cookie sheet and cook at 375F (190C) for about 10 minutes.

    Allow cookies to cool, and store in an airtight container. You can also freeze some for later.
