Ingredients

Square pan 7x7 inches (18cm x 18cm)
  1. 2 cupsbread flour (about 250 grams)
  2. 3/4 cupmilk (about 190 grams)
  3. 2 tablespoonssugar (about 30 grams)
  4. 1/2 teaspoonsalt (about 3 grams)
  5. 1 1/2 tablespoonsbutter (about 20 grams)
  6. 1 teaspoondry yeast (about 3 grams)

Cooking Instructions

    【Dough and First Rise】
    Place all ingredients in the bread machine and let it handle the first rise.

    【Divide】
    Once the dough is ready, transfer it to a floured surface. Gently press it flat with your palm and divide it into 16 equal parts.

    【Bench Time】
    Shape the divided dough into smooth balls, cover with a tightly wrung damp cloth, and let rest for about 15 minutes.

    Place the dough balls seam side down evenly in a pan lined with parchment paper.

    【Second Rise】
    Let the dough rise at 104°F (40°C) for about 40 minutes. If using an oven for proofing, preheat to 340°F (170°C) immediately after the second rise is complete.

    【Baking】
    Dust the dough with extra bread flour using a tea strainer, and bake in a 340°F (170°C) oven for about 15-17 minutes.

    Once baked, remove from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
