  10. to taste garlic (from a tube)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Cover the pork tenderloin with plastic wrap and lightly pound with a rolling pin.

  2. 2

Make shallow crisscross cuts on both sides.

  3. 3

Rub in the sake and garlic marked with *, then coat with potato starch. Be sure to shake off any excess starch!

  4. 4

Line a frying pan with vegetable oil [not listed in ingredients], place the pork, and then turn on the heat. Once you hear a sizzle, reduce to medium heat and brown both sides.

  5. 5

Once the pork is cooked through, pour the onion sauce into the pan and simmer to coat.

  6. 6

Remove the pork and plate it. Add butter to the remaining sauce in the pan, lightly reduce, and pour over the pork.

  7. 7

It's ready! You can garnish with white sesame seeds and chopped green onions if you like.

  8. 8

    The glaze is amazing!
