Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  1. 3-4onions (finely chopped)
  2. 1carrot (finely chopped)
  3. 2tomatoes (finely chopped)
  4. 1/2 bottlegourd (cut into small pieces)
  5. 1 tablespoongrated garlic
  6. 1/2 tablespoongrated ginger
  7. Salt and pepper to taste
  8. 1 tablespoonbutter
  9. 4 1/4 cupswater (1000ml)
  10. 1small amount of cinnamon stick and cloves for aroma

Cooking Instructions

    Finely chop the onions, carrot, tomatoes, and gourd. Grate the garlic and ginger. Cut the cinnamon stick into short pieces.

    Heat a pot and add the butter.

    Add the grated garlic, ginger, and onions. Sauté until the onions become translucent.

    Add the carrot, tomatoes, and gourd.

    Add the water and season with salt and pepper.
