  1. 2 cupidli rice
  2. 1 cupurad dal
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. For sambar :
  5. 1/2 cupTur dal
  6. 1/2 cupmung dal
  7. 1tomato
  8. 1green chilli
  9. 1potato
  10. Halfcucumber
  11. 1carrot
  12. 1 cupbottle gourd
  13. 4 tbsphomemade sambar masal
  14. # For tadaka :
  15. 1 tbspJeera
  16. 1 tbspmustard seeds
  17. 1 pinchhing
  18. leavesCurry
  19. 2 tbspOil
  20. 1 tbspjeera dhanya powder
  21. 1 ts turmeric powder
  22. 8 piecescut Moringo (shevga)

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the rice and urad dal for 4 to 5 hours then grind it in the mixer grinder. Make a fine paste and add water as needed. The batter should not be runny, make it medium consistency. ferment this batter overnight or 7 to 8 hours in a warm and dry place.

    Add salt to the batter. Grease the idli maker with some oil add the batter and steam the idlis for 10 min.

    Wash tur dal,mung dal and add the vegetables. cook this in the cooker.make 3 whisttles

    Let it cool.Now in a large vessel make tadaka, add oil mustard seeds,hing,jeera curry leaves add cooked dal and sambar masala add salt as per taste

    Add boiled moringo,cook this for 5 to 6 mins your sambar is ready

    Eat sambar with soft idlis
