Well, this is technically the 4th meal with the steak and 2nd for the pork butt. Over the Easter holiday we had a cook out. My husband used the last of the sirloin to make his baked beans. I wish he’d give me the recipe lol my daughter took some pork butt and the rest went into the pot with the leftover beans. Very hearty and very delicious. Something easy to throw together in a couple of minutes when you have a Fridge full of leftovers. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -

Calico Beans Calico Beans
It's been years since I've had calico beans and my husband had never tried them. I couldn't find a recipe that I liked for them, and most used ingredients I didn't have at home. We're about 50 miles from the nearest grocery store, so running out for ingredients was not an option. I used several other recipes for inspiration, but this recipe is my creation. Stake Ranchero with whole Beans10 #mommasrecipes Stake Ranchero with whole Beans10 #mommasrecipes
This recipe is one of my favorites, that my mother prepared, only that my mother used meat of beef like pulp or diesmillo, but it is very juicy and the seazoning that she put is incomparable. You can add a lot of spice or not put anything, anyway it will taste delicious. What I love about my mother is that despite spending time in the kitchen, she always did everything she prepared with great love!!! You could fiel it on the palate!!! Chelito Rodriguez
