Cooking Instructions
- 1
Dice the bell pepper, onion, and bacon into bite-sized pieces, similar in size to the beans.
- 2
Place the bacon in a frying pan and cook until the fat is rendered, being careful not to burn it. Do not make it crispy! Wipe off some of the excess fat.
- 3
Add the bell pepper and onion to the bacon and sauté lightly.
- 4
Reduce the heat to low, add the mustard, chili mix powder, and ketchup, and sauté lightly.
- 5
Add the prepared beef bouillon and canned beans to the mixture. If there is no moisture, add enough water to cover all the ingredients.
- 6
Cover and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, allowing some of the moisture to evaporate.
- 7
Taste and adjust with salt and pepper. If you like it spicy, add Tabasco and it's ready to serve!

Easy and Authentically American Chili Bean Soup Easy and Authentically American Chili Bean Soup
A long time ago when I was in my teens, I visited an American friend and had some 'chili beans', which were so delicious. As I tried to recreate it several times over the years, it evolved into a 'chili beans' version that even my darling American husband gives rave reviews to.We use 2 teaspoons of chili powder in our family, but please adjust this to your desired degree of spiciness. The soup is a bit spicy the day it's made, but it gets milder the next day, so if you don't like food that's very spicy or for small children, I recommend serving the soup the next day. For 5 to 6 generous servings. Recipe by MeguBroaden cookpad.japan -

Easy Texas chilli Easy Texas chilli
****warning******* if you use little packs of chilli seasoning or make chilli using ketchup, don't try this recipe, Its going to a bit too much flavor for you. I worked at Hooters years and years ago and this is the same chilli they won awards with. The only difference is if I don't have green peppers I don't add them. In fact it kinda makes it a bit bitter with them. mrefue -

Once I found a recipe for Chili con Carne (Beef Chili) at Whole Foods. I had never made chili before. I prepared that chili and liked it, but over the years I made changes that made me like it even more. Denver Pork Green Chili Stew Denver Pork Green Chili Stew
My daughter lives near Denver, CO and they are famous for their Green Chili made from hatch peppers. Hatch peppers have a unique taste, but an extremely short season, but if you are lucky enough to find them you should try green chili. So I started out to make green chili but the batch of hatch peppers was really hot so I added potatoes to make a stew instead and it turned out great. The potatoes and sour cream helped lower the “heat” level. fenway -
