Ingredients

2 kg Mohanthal
  1. 600 gr.thick gram flour
  2. For "Dhabu" :-
  3. 12 tsp milk
  4. 1 cup ghee
  5. 600 gramssugar
  6. 500 gramsghee
  7. After roasting
  8. 1/2 cup milk
  9. 14cardamom powder
  10. 16almond slivers
  11. 20pistachio slivers
  12. 1 teaspoonJavitri powder
  13. 1nutmeg powder
  14. 2 pinch saffron dissolves

Cooking Instructions

    Make a well in the chickpea flour. Add 12 spoons of hot milk and 1 cup of hot ghee and let it sit for 10 minutes. Afterward, rub it through a wheat sieve and sift.

    One side,Heat the remaining ghee.Meanwhile, put sugar and water in a pan & let it melt.. to make a syrup.

    On this side, once the ghee is hot, add the flour. Roast it on low heat. In between Stir the sugar water occasionally and add the dissolved saffron to it.
    The flour needs to be roasted until it's dark brown, which will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
    On the other side, once the sugar syrup reaches a one-and-a-half-string consistency, turn off the gas. It's takes approx 30 to 40 minutes on slow flame

    Once the flour is deeply browned, add milk to it. When it forms a grainy texture and the ghee separates, turn off the gas. Now, mix in the sugar syrup and let it rest for 20 minutes. Add all the dried fruits.
    Afterward, grease a plate with ghee and spread the mixture to set. Let it cool and set for 6-7 hours before cutting it into pieces.
