Ingredients

40 minutes
5-6servings
  • 1 kgbottle gourd(lauki) grated
  • 500 grammilk
  • 125 gramsSugar
  • 1/4 cupghee
  • as neededChopped dry fruit (Almond,pistachio,cashew nuts)
  • 1/2 tspCardamom powder
  • For garnishing
  • As neededDry fruits chopped

Steps

40 minutes
  1. 1

    First heat the wok add grated lauki and milk

    Cook at law flame till it fragrant

  3. 3

    Later cook it on high flame to evaporate the excess milk from it,Then add sugar,mix well,again Cook the halwa on high flame until it's juice evaporate completely,stir the halwa at regular interval

    Add ghee,stir the halwa constantly

    Add dry fruits and cardamom powder cook for 3 to 4 minutes,Turn off the flame.served it another bowl garnish with dry fruits
