Cooking Instructions

Wash, clean & grate the carrots. No need to grate them very finely.

Add finely grated beetroot for a nice colour. Avoid it if you don’t like or if you have red carrots.

Add milk, cook covered for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes add half of the clarified butter & cook for 2 minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly.

Gradually add milk powder & ensure that there are no lumps in the halwa.

Add sugar & mix well. Now it would release some water
- 7
Stir it on medium/high heat till the halwa dries.

Add the remaining clarified butter & mix well.

Stir for 2 minutes on medium/high heat.

Add cardamom powder & mix well.

Add nuts of your choice & serve warm.
