Graham Cracker Pudding Pie

I thought of this from scratch. It's fun for the kids to help but it can get a little messy.

I found this recipe to be incredibly easy and it takes a short amount of time to make, my family loved it and went back for thirds! :-)

I needed a quick last minute dessert and this is what I had on hand. The kids absolutely loved it!

The closest you can get to eating a cloud. I can eat nearly the whole thing. It’s a shame that I didn’t have pistachios when I decided to make this, but I used some honey roasted peanuts and it seemed to heat the mark. Feel free to use cool whip if you don’t have the time or energy to whip cream by hand. I’ll say that I was rather annoyed while making this, but I was relieved and satisfied when it was completed.

Who doesn't love pudding pie, especially a chocolate one? I once had a Mayan Dark Chocolate Pie at a restaurant and have been meaning to recreate it at home for a long time. The cayenne is totally optional but it does give an extra dimension to the chocolate. Try a tiny pinch, be brave!

I have seen various renditions of this pie here on Cookpad and on the internet. I don’t know who officially created it, but I want to thank those before me for paving the way for me. As always, feel free to add your own flair to the pie to make it your own. I just thought about pan frying the bananas as I was writing this... maybe next time. Anyway, its a nice focal dessert for holiday occasions... or just to pig out for no special occasion.
