Ingredients

5-6 persons
  1. 1 glassrice
  2. 1 1/2 glasswater
  3. 1 spoonnamak
  4. 1/2 spoondhania powder
  5. 1/4 spoonlal mirch powder
  6. 1/4 spoongaram masala
  7. 1/2 spoonsambhar masala
  8. 1/2 spoonjeera
  9. 1/2katori pomegranate seeds
  10. 1karchi oil
  11. 1kheere slices for decoration of rice tray

Cooking Instructions

    Soak rice in water for 10 min. In the meantime cut the onion into slices and in the grinder grind tomato and one green chilli.

    Put oil in cooker and add jeera. Cook for 1/2 minute. Add onion and saute till light brown.

    Now add tomato and green chilli paste and cook till dark red. Now add all the masalae and mix well and cook for 2 min. Then finally add rice and water.

    Close the cooker and cook till one whistle on high flame and now slow down the flame. Cook for 5-7 min. Now close the gas and open cooker after 5-7 min.

    Your yellow pulao are ready to serve. Take them out on a rice tray. Put pomegranate seeds all over as shown in pic. On the borders of the tray put kheere slices to make it more attractive Happy cooking!!!
