Refried Beans - Slow Cooker Refried Beans - Slow Cooker
This is, by far, the easiest way to make homemade refried beans. It does take some planning ahead, but for the most part, this recipe is very hands off. These are creamy and nicely seasoned. They're not spicy, so long as you remove the seeds from the jalapeno. Feel free to substitute the pinto beans for black beans to mix things up. Christina -

Crockpot Cowboy Beans Crockpot Cowboy Beans
#CA2025 A friend brought this to one of our cookouts. Everyone loved it. You can slow cook in your crockpot or simmer on the stove. I like to use smoked brisket if I have any leftovers. Serve with tortilla chips, sour cream, jalapenos, cheese whatever suits you or eat without extras. This can be a meal by itself or a game day appetizer. cindybear -
Stewed Beans in a Slow Cooker (Crock Pot) Stewed Beans in a Slow Cooker (Crock Pot)
Those who know me well know that I absolutely love a good hearty dish. In my home, we've always been big on stews and casseroles, and they're a staple for us. When you make them in a slow cooker, they turn out delicious because all the flavors concentrate, and you hardly need to add any salt 🧂.The recipe was intended to be an Asturian stew, but with the snowstorm, it was impossible to get fabes and turnip greens. I substituted with regular white beans and cabbage. I recommend both the original and the version I'm sharing today. 8 hours of soaking and 8 hours of cooking on low heat.Have a great day 😘😘 Cocina con BarbaraTranslated from Cookpad Spain -
Cowboy Chili (for the Slow Cooker) Cowboy Chili (for the Slow Cooker)
Many years ago, a potluck dinner party guest brought this chili. After the first bite, I asked for the recipe! If you follow the recipe as is, you’ll end up with a chili that has a low to moderate heat that sneaks up on you (as a slow burn). It’s fantastic for the colder months. It’s designed to feed a crowd, but you can also freeze it.🌟NOTE: you will need a slow cooker with a minimum 6 quart capacity. If you don’t have a slow cooker, you will need a very large pot with a lid and patience to keep an eye on the chili and stir it occasionally as it simmers for at least 2 hours.#Texas #Spicy #Dinner #Autumn #Fall #Winter #ComfortFood Chris Gan -

I'm a big fan of slow cooker meals that you can walk away from and come back to at the end of the day. This is not one of them. To do this correctly, you have to monitor your progress, but you're going to love the results. Just Boozer -

Black Bean and Rice Soup - Slow Cooker Black Bean and Rice Soup - Slow Cooker
This recipe is very simple to throw together and full of flavor. I remove the seeds from my jalapeno and it's not at all spicy. We like ours served with some roasted sweet potato or some cheese quesadilla wedges on the side. Recipe adapted from : Iowagirleats.com Christina -
