Fresh Guacamole

I make fresh guacamole all the time! It is so delicious and refreshing! I like to eat it plain, with tortilla chips, with eggs in the morning breakfast or on toast!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
****Dice red onion and sit in a bowl of water for an hour or two so that the onions arent so sharp to taste
- 2
Peel and dice your avocados and place in a mixing bowl. (Reserve the pits and set aside)
- 3
Cut your jalepeño in half and remove the ribs and seeds. Then, finely mince your jalepeño and add to the mixing bowl
- 4
Remove the cilantro leaves from the stems and chop finely. Use about a small handful of cilantro or as much as desired
- 5
Microwave your lime for 30 seconds to release all of its juices. Then roll the lime with the palm of your hand on a hard surface (counter top) to ensure the juices are flowing
- 6
Cut the lime in half and squeeze half of the lime juice into the mixing bowl. Use as much or as little as desired
- 7
Add salt, pepper and red onions and mash the mixture with a fork
- 8
Taste. Season with salt and pepper once more if necessary and ¡Víola! Your all done. Fresh, homemade guacamole!
- 9
Put the pits back in the guacamole while you refrigerate it in order to preserve the vibrant green color

Original Guacamole Original Guacamole
Where I live is the avocado capital of the world, and I'm lucky to have an avocado tree at home. We use avocados to prepare all kinds of dishes. You're invited to come and enjoy a freshly picked avocado, either on its own or with salt and a tortilla. AnnastasisTranslated from Cookpad Mexico -
Guacamole Guacamole
This is guacamole done my way. There are many variations of this recipe. I like it blended because I don't care for chunks of raw onion, but I enjoy the flavor an onion adds. I like jalapenos for flavor and some heat. The "heat" will vary depending on the variety of jalapeno, it's maturity, and how it was grown. sandra53 -

Amazing Guacamole Amazing Guacamole
I was getting tired of getting under-flavored, boring, or just not good guac from the store and HATE paying for special table side guac and being disappointed. This recipe is my solution. HardDog1110 -
