When I was a kid my Aunt Edna would make this meal. After we all went crabbing caught the crabs, cleaned them. Separate the legs, and claws from body of crabs. Then cook them and eat the mess out of them!

Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 12large blue crabs
  2. 28 ozcan of crushed tomatoes
  3. 31 ozcan of tomato sauce
  4. 2large stalks of celery chopped
  5. 1large onion, chopped
  6. 1/2 cupsweet peppers chopped
  7. 1 tbspminced garlic
  8. 1 tspsweet basil
  9. 1 tspwhole leaf oregano
  10. 2 tbspolive oil
  11. 4bay leaves

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add the following ingredients into a pan. Celery, peppers, onions, 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Sautee till tender

    In a pot add theses ingredients. Basil, oregano, tomato sauce, crushed tomatos, bay leaves, garlic, and crabs. Bring to boil add salt to taste.

    Mix the onions and peppers with shala let it simmer covered for 30 minutes. Stirring occasionally.

    Serve over rice or noodles. Serve hope you enjoy!
