Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 350°
- 2
Core & peel apple. Cut into 8 wedges
- 3
Roll each apple wedge in crescent dough, sealing edges. Place in 8x8 ungreased cake pan
- 4
In small bowl, combine butter, sugar and cinnamon
- 5
Spoon sugar mixture over dumplings
- 6
Pour mountain dew on top of dumplings (gently, to not wash off sugar)
- 7
Bake on middle rack, uncovered, for 45 minutes
- 8
Let sit for 5 minutes before serving
- 9
* I use the sugary liquid on bottom of pan to top each dumpling
- 10
* I serve my dumplings warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream!
