Ingredients

  1. 1bundle asparagus; trimmed & halved
  2. 1yellow onion; large dice
  3. 3/4 cupbalsamic vinegar
  4. 1/2 cupfeta cheese crumbles
  5. 1 tspwhite pepper
  6. 1 tspgarlic powder
  7. 1large pinch sugar
  8. 1kosher salt; to taste
  9. 1olive oil; as needed

Cooking Instructions

    Sweat onions in a large saute pan. Add a tiny pinch of salt.

    After 2 minutes add asparagus and continue to sweat. Add oil if needed. Season.

    When asparagus is 90% cooked add vinegar and sugar. Toss. Reduce til nearly dry. Toss with feta.
