Barbecued Salted Cod

I forgot about this recipe for quite some time until recently when my grandfather made it.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
With salted fish you have to place in cold water 24 hours prior to cooking to remove some of the saltiness. Change the water 2-3 times in that 24 period.
- 2
Drain the cod well from the water prior to cooking.
- 3
Set up your barbecue. And when its the right temperature place the cod on the grill.
- 4
Grill on both sides for 5-10 minutes or until it has become slightly charred on each side and crispy.
- 5
Then remove, place on a plate and using two forks de-bone and shred the cod.
- 6
Drizzle olive oil and add the garlic over the shredded cod.
- 7
You may add more oilve oil and garlic if you wish. Serve with a nice piece of crusty bread. And enjoy.
