Ingredients

  1. 3 cupShredded cooked chicken
  2. 6 sliceBacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
  3. 1 lbUncooked elbow macaroni
  4. 3 tbspButter
  5. 3 tbspAll purpose flour
  6. 1 pintsHalf and half
  7. 1 can14 oz chicken broth
  8. 1 can10.75 oz condensed cheese soup
  9. 1 tspEach, ground mustard, garlic powder, onion powder
  10. 2 cupShredded sharp cheddar cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Cook macaroni according to package directions.

    Drain well and set aside.

    In large pot, melt butter.

  4. 4

    Add flour and whisk to combine.

  5. 5

    Cook for 2-3min.

    Slowly add the half and half and broth, whisking constantly.

    Stir in cheddar cheese soup, ground mustard, garlic and onion powder.

    Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.

    Once thickened, whisk in the cheddar cheese and stir until completely melted.

    Add the cooked chicken, bacon and macaroni.

    Stir until combined and heated through.

    If it gets too thick, you may need to add more half and half or broth.
