Just whipped this together at a buddies house, turned out really good. We added a bag of frozen strawberries and bananas to our's while it was cooking down and that was really delicious. After we were finished we had the idea to use some Fireball cinnamon whiskey in place of some of the water which would also probably be delicious!

Ingredients

1 hour
  1. 5 lbApples
  2. 1 1/2 cupSugar
  3. 1 dashCinnamon
  4. 1 1/4 cupWater
  5. 1/2 stickButter

Cooking Instructions

    Peel and core your apples

  2. 2

    Cut the apples up a little bit. (This just helps it cook faster)

  3. 3

    Add the rest of the ingredients except for the butter and boil the apples until soft.

    When apples are soft take a potato masher and mash up your applesauce. Add the half stick of butter to the mix and melt it.

    Taste and adjust seasonings as needed to make it just how you want it. And then let it cool and enjoy, if you can even wait until it cools... we couldnt
