Sloppy Joe Pizza (stuffed crust)

I have a thing for creative pizzas. I will literally turn any meal into a pizza and it has become a tradition in our house.

I have a thing for creative pizzas. I will literally turn any meal into a pizza and it has become a tradition in our house.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 400°F (or whatever temp is recommended on pizza crust dough can)
- 2
Saute red and yellow diced onions on medium heat in skillet using small amount of olive oil. Set aside sautéed onions
- 3
Brown pound of ground beef in skillet om medium heat and drain grease. After drained, add sauted onions and sloppy Joe sauce from can. Stir together and return to stove top
- 4
Cook browned ground beef, onion and sloppy Joe sauce according to can directions (usually heating on medium until it bubbles, then turn heat to low and simmer covered 5 to 10 minutes). Set mixture aside when complete.
- 5
Unroll dough onto 8 x 12 cookie sheet
- 6
Place string cheese around edges of dough leaving about half inch of space between string cheese and edge of dough.
- 7
Fold edges of dough over string cheese and press to seal to form stuffed crust
- 8
Crush 3/4 cup of the French's cheese french fried onions and press lightly into pizza crust dough.
- 9
Par bake stuffed crust according to directions on can of pizza crust dough of your choice (usually 5 to 6 minutes)
- 10
Allow par baked crust to cool 5 minutes, then evenly top with cooked sloppy Joe beef mixture
- 11
Top sloppy Joe beef mixture with shredded colby cheese evenly (I often end up sprinkling more on. Never have too much cheese...)
- 12
Sprinkle remaining 3/4 cup of uncrushed French's French fried cheese onions on top of shredded colby.
- 13
Bake pizza in oven according to directions on crust can (in thin crust case, 10-12 minutes) or until edges are golden.
- 14
Remove pizza from oven and allow to cool for 2 minutes before cutting. Serve and Enjoy!

Breakfast Pizza (stuffed crust) Breakfast Pizza (stuffed crust)
Had a great slice of Breakfast pizza one morning, so Kevin and I just had to make one of our own.***You can make this pizza being stuffed crust or omit the string cheese and just have regular non-stuffed crust breakfast pizza!*** Either way this pizza is mouth-watering, 100% satisfying, and very easy to make! Even better....did you have some bacon & sausage left over from breakfast this morning or even yesterday morning? Great way to use up a few leftovers! Heather K -
Sloppy Joe Sloppy Joe
This is a dish I often ate when I was in America. It's super easy and delicious! Enjoy eating it while getting your hands and mouth messy.^^The origin of this recipe: I often had it for lunch when I was in America. At first, I thought, "What kind of dish is this with a name like a person's!?" But it turned out to be delicious! At my house, we sometimes added pizza cheese. There are canned Sloppy Joes (just add to the meat), but since I couldn't find them here, I made it with BBQ sauce instead. shokolatTranslated from Cookpad Japan -

Sloppy Joe Burger Sloppy Joe Burger
(IOWA, USA) Originating from the American state of Iowa, this unique burger comes to us. It was created in the 20th century and is one of the most nutritious fast foods, although one of the less popular ones (originally it's just called Sloppy Joe without calling it a burger). Its name "sloppy" means "messy" and refers to how it tends to fall apart while eating, but the problem is solved with a fork and knife. In Oakland Cemetery, north of the city of Iowa, there is a statue of an angel made of copper. Originally it was golden but has turned black, and all attempts to clean it have mysteriously failed. The dark angel guards three graves belonging to the Feldevert family. There are two versions of why the statue is like this: the first says that the matriarch of the family, Teresa Feldevert, was such a terrible witch that her evil even affected the statue over her grave. Another story says that when Teresa died, her husband promised never to sleep with any other woman, but over time he met someone with whom he wanted to resume his life and slept with her. As a claim from beyond, the statue over the deceased's grave turned black. Today this legend is very popular and is known as "The Black Angel of Oakland Cemetery."
