Simple Applesauce
Picked up a clearance pack of fruit from grocery store. This quick recipe offers two to three tasty servings from one apple and the juice from one orange!
Steps
- 1
Any apple will work. Peel and core apple. Slice then chop. Put in bowl.
- 2
Roll orange firmly on countertop. Slice in half and squeeze juice over chopped apple pieces. Use a juicer to catch seeds.
- 3
Sprinkle Ground cinnamon and sugar then mix well.
- 4
Microwave for a minute on high.
- 5
I used a pastry cutter to continue cutting apple pieces into smaller bits, but a blender or processor would work too.
