Cute Deviled Chicks

Tallior @cheftalfenn
Got the filling recipe from my grandmother. Everyone loves the creamy taste. Saw the chick idea online and thought it was a nice, playful touch. You can even dye the egg whites blue or pink to use for baby shower appetizers. Have fun 😉
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Remove the yolks from the eggs and transfer to a small mixing bowl.
- 2
Add 2 of the white halves.
- 3
Next combine the rest of the ingredients and mash with a fork till a creamy, even texture forms.
- 4
Spoon the mixture into the halved egg whites.
- 5
Decorate with the bacon and carrots. Use shredded cabbage as grass for a cute, spring display 😉
- 6
Chill until ready to serve. Enjoy!

Deviled Easter Chick Eggs
This is a cute addition to a Easter table, plus tastes great. I have a creamy slightly spicy filling but any favorite filling can be used.

Deviled Eggs
I love deviled eggs. I don't like the overpowering taste of mayonnaise or miracle whip. I use as little as possible to allow the egg taste to manifest itself. For a half dozen eggs (dozen halves), I use about 3 tspns, just enough to bind the filling. Use more if needed for consistency, not all eggs are the same size, and the amount needed may vary a bit.

Loaded Deviled Eggs
I love deviled eggs and had made something similar to these for a cousin's baby shower many moons ago. I was making loaded twice baked potatoes at the same time recently for a friend's hog roast and decided to combine the two ideas! And ever since mom and dad had chickens, and we have had fresh eggs they are even better. I do half with pickles and half with olives. No need to add salt the !mustard pickles and/or olives gives it plenty of salt.

Rosemary Cross-Top Deviled Eggs
The deviled egg can be traced back to ancient Rome, where boiled eggs were seasoned with spicy sauces and served as a starter meal during gatherings and feasts.Deviled Eggs were very popular across Europe, but they were still not called Deviled Eggs. In fact, this dish is also known by other names varying from place to place.• How To Select Eggs For BoilingThe size, temperature, and age of eggs all affect how easy they peel after hard boiling. Cute Candy Cookies
I saw a cookie with a candy window on a TV show awhile ago. I thought if it could be made with a black cocoa cookie, it'd make for a nice contrast and be really cute, so I gave it a shot. When I put the candy in before baking the cookie dough would become smashed or stick to the candy and it was quite difficult. So I changed the procedure to add the candy during the middle of baking.Try to fill in the gaps with smashed candy bits as much as possible. The baking may differ depending on your household oven, so adjust the temperature and baking time as necessary. If the temperature is too hot, the candy may burn. It might be a good idea to have candy bits left over when baking so you can fill in any gaps. For the candy, I use orange and pineapple flavored Sakuma drops. Recipe by yotiko
