Cherry and Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

  1. 2ramekins
  2. 75 gramsdark chocolate, melted-plus extra for serving
  3. 50 gramsunsalted butter, melted
  4. 2beaten eggs
  5. 50 gramscaster sugar
  6. 50 gramsplain flour
  7. 50 gramspitted cherries from a can, chopped
  8. 2 tbspjuice from can of cherries
  9. 1Butter for greasing

Cooking Instructions

    Place the chocolate, butter, eggs and sugar into a bowl and mix.

    Add the flour, cherries and cherry juice and mix together until smooth.

  3. 3

    Grease the ramekins with butter, then spoon the mixture into each until they're three-quarters full.

    Cover each ramekin with clingfilm, place in the microwave and cook on high for 4 mins or until risen and cooked through.

    To serve, turn the puddings out onto plates and drizzle the melted chocolate on top.
