This recipe is modified from cooks illustrated to include a bit more sauce and a bit more heat in the form of chipotles. Don't skip the sugar in the rub as it aids in crisping and carmelizing the edges of the chicken.

Needed something easy to fix, as am feeling very under the weather. Kids ate it up, served with corn and biscuits.

A perfect combination chicken and Bacon. Kitchen time was a breeze...

Added some brown sugar and some sweet baby rays brown sugar recipe was delish. Good mothers day dinner!

I originally found the recipe on pintrest it was good but my husband thought it needed more flavor. So the next time I made it I added more seasoning and bbq sauce and it was perfection :) I hope your family enjoys it as much as mine.

My son loves chicken tenders, and I wanted less mess than frying. He's such a picky eater that I combined one of his favorites, bacon, with the tenders and he loves them. They are a great finger food, perfect for appetizers. I use them as an entree usually paired with corn on the cob and some version of cole slaw.

A little barbecue, bacon with grilled shrimp!
