  5. 1large Bell Pepper
  6. 1small Onion
  7. 1 tbspMinced Garlic

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

In a large pot, add 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil and ground beef at medium heat. Cook ground beef till brown and add 1 8oz can of tomato sauce, 1 8 oz can of tomato paste and 2 cups of water. Lower heat to low flame and allow it to simmer for 15 minutes low heat.

As ground beef simmers in pot, cut up and dice Bell Pepper and Onion then place in bowl and put aside. (I always try to use three different colored peppers like green, red and yellow for color).

  3. 3

After simmering for 10 minutes add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic & 1 15-16oz can of Kidney beans. Stir into chilli and continue simmering for another 15 minutes and then add diced onions and bell pepper. Then turn off heat and let sit for 5 minutes covered before serving.

  4. 4

Serve topped with a small helping of Cheddar cheese and chips or with white rice
