Cooking Instructions

Combine water, sugar, yeast, and butter instand mixer bowl and mix with dough hook until combined. Let sit for 5 mins.

Add salt and flour and mix low speed until combined. Increase speed to med and continue kneading until dough is smooth and begins to pull away from sides of bowl about 3 to 4 mins. If dough appears to be too wet add additional flour 1 tablespoon at a time. Remove from bowl an knead with hands make into a ball.

oil bowl with vegetable oil, add dough turn and coat with oil. Cover with clean towel or plastic wrap and plaxe in a warm spot until dough doubles in size approx 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Bring water to boil in small roasting pan over high heat and add baking soda.

Remove the dough from bowl place on flat surface. Divide into 8 equal pieces. Roll ea pc into long rope approx 22 inches and shape. Cut dough into 1 inch pieces. Boil bites in batches approx 15 pieces at a time. Boil for 30 sec. Remove with large slotted spoon. Place bites on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Approx 1 in appart. Brush tops with egg wash and sprinkle with salt.

Bake approx 15 to 18 mins until golden brown.

Remove from oven place on coolibg rack about 5 mins before eating.

Eat plain with cheese sauce, cream cheese, or your favorite sauces.
