This salad keeps well a few days in the frig. Flavor improves. For dill lovers.

Ingredients

12 servings
  1. 2 packagescornbread mix
  2. 1 bunchgreen onion, chopped
  3. 2tomatoes, chopped
  4. 1 cupdill pickle, chopped
  5. 1 canranch beans, undrained
  6. 1 cupshredded cheddar cheese
  7. 1 lbbacon, cooked crisp
  8. 3/4 cupdill pickle juice
  9. 1 cupmayonaise

Cooking Instructions

    Bake cornbread mix according to package directions

    Crumble cornbread in a large bowl.

  3. 3

    layer next the green onions, follow with tomtoes, pickles and beans.

  4. 4

    Mix together the dill pickle juice and mayo. Whisk til smooth. Pour over the beans.

  5. 5

    Sprinkle the cheese on top .

  6. 6

    Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on last.

  7. 7

    Cover tightly and chill overnight.
