Ingredients

  1. 3Raw tomato - medium size - Julian cut / sliced
  2. 1 tspBelacan - Dried salted shrimp powder
  3. 1 tspBlended small chilli
  4. 1 tbspLime juice
  5. 1Few drops of cooking oil
  6. 1Some sugar, salt and seasoning
  7. 1Some sliced lime rind

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a small pan, drop some cooking oil and quick simmer both tomato and belacan. Using a kitchen mortar and pestle, give them some slight smash

  2. 2

    In the same pan, drop some cooking oil and simmer the blended chilli for few minutes then add in the lime juice and turn off the heat. Take the chilli into the kitchen mortar pestle to mix with the smash tomato

  3. 3

    Add in the sliced lime rind and salt sugar + seasoning and serve as side dish to go with some chicken / meat curry and freshly cooked hot white rice
