This is one of my family's favorite meals. My husband and children ask me to make this at least once a week. I like that the meat is versatile as well. You can use steak, chicken, ground meat. Really any meat you want to.

Ingredients

30 mins
5 large serving
  1. 1family size bag of taco doritos
  2. 1 (8 oz)tub Mexican crema (sour cream can be used as well)
  3. 1 headlettuce
  4. 1 jarqueso
  5. Salsa of your choice
  6. 1 cupshredded cheddar cheese
  7. JarJalapenos optional
  8. 1 poundflank steak, or chicken or any meat of your choice
  9. 1 teaspooncumin
  10. 1 teaspoongarlic powder
  11. 1 teaspoonchili powder
  12. to tasteSalt and pepper
  13. 1 tablespoonlard or oil
  14. 2chopped tomatos

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all seasonings (garlic powder, cumin, chili powder salt and pepper) rub on steak (or whatever meat) to coat. Place in fridge for 2 hours.

    Wash lettuce with water and chop. Place in a large bowl.

  3. 3

    Chop tomatoes and set aside.

    Heat a skillet and add lard. Once hot add whole steak and cook 4 mins on each side. Remove and let rest 10 mins. Slice steak into 1/2 cubes.

    Prepare plates in this order. Add chips to plate first. Then add lettuce. Next add the steak. Then add shredded cheese. Add salsa, queso, tomatoes, sour cream and Jalopeno. Now serve and enjoy.
