Ingredients

  1. 3 cupBasmati Rice
  2. 2cksp tomatoes/tatashe paste
  3. dashoregano
  4. 5fresh Habanero Pepper dice
  5. 3knorr cube
  6. 1bulb onions
  7. 1 cupveg oil
  8. to tastesalt

Cooking Instructions

    Parboil water once it boiling hot turn off heat and pour the rice into the pot, let it rest for about 2 mins; stir and drain.

    Heat up pot add vegetable oil and stir in blended tomatoes and allow it cook for about 7 minutes, stir continuously during this period,

    Add salt, bouillon cube and finally stir in the rice, add a little water or chicken stock if you have any, you will have to monitor it to keep adding water till the rice is tender.

    Once the rice is tender and water has dried out; turn off heat and serve.
