Ingredients

  1. 7-8leftover rice idlis
  2. 3 tspmaida / all purpose flour
  3. 2 tspcornflour
  4. Pinchcooking soda
  5. as neededSalt
  6. 1big onion chopped in big squares
  7. 1capsicum cut in big squares
  8. 2 tspchilli sauce
  9. 2 tspketchup
  10. 1 tspsoya sauce
  11. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  12. 3-4green chillies cut in diagonal slits
  13. 2-3whole red chilli
  14. as neededOil to fry
  15. 1 tbsp oil to saute vegetables

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the idli lenghtwise in 3-4pieces

  2. 2

    Make a batter of maida and cornflour to dip the idlis, add salt and pinch of soda to it. Dip each piece of idling and fry it in hot oil.

    Once all idlis are fried,take a pan heat 1 tbsp oil, add ginger garlic paste, sauté for a minute then add onion and capsicum squares to it, saute for 2-3 minutes

    Then add a little salt, red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, soya sauce.

    Then add a slurry of cornflour (2tsp cornflour +little water) then add fried idlis to this, saute for a minute.
