Ingredients

  1. 6 lbsRed Potatoes
  2. 3 SticksButter
  3. 3/4 CupFresh Minced Chives
  4. 2 CupsSour Cream
  5. 1-1/2 CupsWhole Milk
  6. 8 StripsPre-Cooked Bacon
  7. 1/2 CupShredded Cheddar
  8. 2 TbspGarlic Powder
  9. 2 TbspSalt
  10. 1 TbspPepper

Cooking Instructions

    Peel Potatoes and put in extra large stock pot

  2. 2

    Fill pot with water up to 2 inches above potatoes

  3. 3

    Bring water to boil and boil potatoes for 25-30 minutes

  4. 4

    Strain water and put potatoes into extra large mixing bowl and mash with potato masher

  5. 5

    Cut butter into potatoes and continue mashing until butter has melted and combined

  6. 6

    Pour in milk and mix with masher

  7. 7

    Use hand mixer to blend potatoes smooth

  8. 8

    Add Sour Cream and Chives and mix with hand mixer

  9. 9

    Add Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder and mix with hand mixer

  10. 10

    Transfer contents to large casserole dish

  11. 11

    Chop bacon slices and top potatoes with Cheese then bacon

  12. 12

    Bake casserole at 350 for 15-20 minutes

    Allow to cool before serving
