Ingredients

  1. 1.5 cupsWheat flour/ Atta -
  2. 2 TbspAll purpose flour/maida
  3. 1 TbspCooking oil -
  4. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder –
  5. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder -
  6. 1/2 tspGaram masala powder - (optional)
  7. 1/2 tspAmchoor powder - (optional)
  8. 1 tspCarom seeds/Ajwain -
  9. as neededSalt & Water -
  10. 2 tspCrushed kasoori methi - (you can add for variations)

Cooking Instructions

    To begin making the Masala Puri recipe, firstly add wheat flour and maida along with red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, carom seeds, kasoori methi, amchoor powder, salt and oil.

    Mix them well and add water so as to form a dough. Keep it aside for few minutes.

    Make small round balls of this dough and roll them in the form of a Puri.

  4. 4

    Apply oil on the rolling pin and rolling board and carefully roll them in to Puri.

  5. 5

    Fry them in a deep fry pan and it is ready to be served.

  6. 6

    Serve Masala Puri with matar, chole or simply Aam Ka Achaar for breakfast or lunch.
