Pomo is callad ganda in Hausa, I always do pepper soup with Pomo,but today I tried of doing stew with Pomo, and I really really enjoyed it

Ingredients

  1. 10tomatoes
  2. 5red pepper
  3. 3scotch bonnet pepper
  4. 1chopped onion
  5. 2garlic
  6. 5maggi
  7. 1/3 tspgrinded Ginger
  8. 1/2 cupvegetable oil
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. Pomo(cow skin)

Cooking Instructions

    Wash pomo with salt very well and remove the dirty,cut it in to your desired size

    Bring pomo in to a clean pot,add enough water cover and allow it to cook until the pomo become soft,drain the water and keep aside.

    Wash and Blend the tomatoes, garlic,pepper,scotch bonnet and onion till smooth

    Add oil to the pot,fry the little chopped onion,add the tomatoes mix and fry,stir at short interval until the water reduce

    Add in the seasoning cub,salt and Ginger stir it

    Then add the boiled pomo and the remaining chopped onion stir and leave it for 15mnt to cook,so that to absorb the flavor of the stew

    Pomo stew is ready,serve and enjoy with rice,spaghetti or food of your choice
