Fast-fried pork chops with ladybug sauce Fast-fried pork chops with ladybug sauce
Pork chops were on the menu for dinner, but I wanted to serve them with something new. So I whipped up a quick sauce with some fresh mint I had in the fridge. For some reason, my daughter called the concoction ladybug sauce. I don't know why, and I don't think she did, either, other than it sounded funny to her. But she was very insistent, and so ladybug sauce it became. In actuality, it's a modified mint sauce, and it was a big hit. Whatever you call it, it's delicious. Robert Gonzal -

Fettuccine with beef and fennel rose sauce Fettuccine with beef and fennel rose sauce
This is my spin on a classic pasta dish. I caramelized the ground beef to start, for extra flavour and to avoid any mushiness. I also added the fennel near the end of cooking, to maintain it's crunch. And, because the wife prefers creamy sauces, I added a splash of cream to turn the sauce rose. It was a hit. Robert Gonzal -
Spaghetti with Bolognese Meat Sauce Spaghetti with Bolognese Meat Sauce
Bolognese sauce is a popular and simple sauce among Italian-style pasta sauces. This recipe is common except for the first step, which is a family secret. This step creates a natural sweetness for the sauce from fried onions, so if you want to save time, you can skip it. DoryTranslated from Cookpad Vietnam -

Spicy lamb meatballs with a tangy yoghurt sauce Spicy lamb meatballs with a tangy yoghurt sauce
Usually meatballs are a bit of a hassle to make - especially if they need a tomato sauce to go with them. This recipe was inspired by wanting something super tasty, freezable (so I can use for a future meal) and quick to make. Most online lamb meatball recipes (and I consulted a few 😉) use the traditional frying ball method, but lamb is already fatty enough. And, as I found out today, oven works fine 😊. Since this recipe requires quite a few ingredients (it is worth it - trust me!!) and I know how precious time is to us all, I recommend making more than you need, and either freezing the mixture itself, or the meatballs once cooked, for a future meal.
