Ingredients

  1. 2egg whites
  2. 1/2 cupgranulated sugar (icing sugar)
  3. 1 pinchsalt (1/8 tsp)
  4. 1/4 tspvanilla powder
  5. 1/2 cupall-purpose flour (about 60 grams)
  6. 3 tablespoonsbutter, melted
  7. Topping

Cooking Instructions

    Prepare a bowl and mix sugar and egg whites until stiff peaks form.

    Sift flour with salt and vanilla powder, then add to the egg white mixture in three stages, folding until well combined. Pour in melted butter and fold until well combined.

    Prepare a baking sheet lined with good quality baking paper, no need to grease. Take a small amount of batter (about 1/4 tsp) and place it on the baking paper, spreading it into a circle with the back of a spoon. Sprinkle with sliced almonds.

    Bake at 320°F (160°C) until golden. Once cooled, store immediately in a sealed container, as they won't stay crispy for long at room temperature. Makes 58 pieces.
