  1. 1 lettuce head, shredded
  2. 3 medium tomatoes, diced
  3. 3 small cucumbers, sliced
  4. 6 radishes, sliced
  5. 7 green onions, or scallions, chopped
  6. 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  7. 1 bunch purslane, leaves torn
  8. 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  9. 1/2 bunch mint leaves, coarsley chopped
  10. 1 1/2 small pita bread, toasted and cut into pieces
  11. 1 tablespoonsumac
  12. For the dressing:
  13. 2 clovesgarlic, crushed
  14. 1/2 cuplemon juice
  15. 4 tablespoonsolive oil
  16. salt to taste

    Mix all the vegetables together in a large bowl and sprinkle with the sumac.

    Mix all the ingredients of the dressing together and pour over the vegetables.

    Mix the vegetables and dressing until well combined. Then, add the toasted pita bread pieces and toss gently.

    Serve immediately and if you want to prepare ahead of time, add the bread pieces just before serving.
