  1. 2 cupsall purpose flour
  2. 1 tspgarlic powder
  3. 2 tspsugar
  4. 2 tspinstant yeast
  5. 2 tbspolive oil
  6. 1 pinchsalt
  7. Warm milk/water as required to knead the dough
  8. 1/2 cupgrated cheese (mozzarella/ processed/cheddar)
  9. 1 tspblack pepper
  10. 1 tspred chilli flakes
  11. 1 tspOregano / mixed herbs
  12. 1 tbspchopped garlic
  13. 2 tspButter

Cooking Instructions

    First mix all purpose flour, salt, garlic powder, yeast, sugar, olive oil. Adding warm water/milk make a smooth dough. Knead it nicely upto 8/10 mins. In a big bowl apply oil and keep this dough by covering, till it raises double in size.

    Now make 2 balls out of the dough. Roll these into thick 8" Circles. In one roti spread butter, then sprinkle chopped garlic, pepper, chilli flakes, herbs and on top sprinkle cheese. Then cover this roti by another roti. Press all sides nicely. Follow the picture.

    Now put a glass on the center. Give 18 Cut marks like shown in picture. Then slowly twist each portion and give flower shape like the picture. Brush with milk and bake in a preheated oven for 25/30 mins on 180©

    After removing from the oven, cover it with a kitchen towel so that it will remain soft after cooling.
