Ingredients

  1. For potato mixture:-
  2. 6-7boiled and mashed potatoes
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 1 teaspoonred chilli powder
  5. 1/4 teaspoonturmeric powder
  6. 1/4 teaspoonchat masala
  7. 1/2 teaspoonroasted cumin powder
  8. 1 teaspoonred garlic chutney
  9. 3-4 tablespoonschopped coriander leaves
  10. For batter:-
  11. 1/4 cupall purpose flour
  12. 2-3 tablespooncornflour or rice flour
  13. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  14. For green chutney:-
  15. 1 cupchopped coriander leaves
  16. 6-7spinach leaves (optional, only for green colour)
  17. 2-3green chillies
  18. to tasteSalt
  19. 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  20. 2 teaspoonlemon juice
  21. 1/2 slicebread
  22. Otherther ingredients:-
  23. 2finely chopped onions
  24. 2finely chopped tomatoes
  25. 1/4 cupchopped coriander leaves
  26. as requiredNylon Sev
  27. as per tasteChat masala
  28. as requiredRed garlic chutney
  29. fewBread slices
  30. as neededButter

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients mentioned in ' for potato mixture '.

    Mix all purpose flour, corn flour and salt with enough water in broad bowl and make thin batter.

  3. 3

    Mix all ingredients for green chutney and grind in mixer grinder with enough water.

  4. 4

    Heat nonstick tawa. Take a slice of bread, apply green chutney over it. Apply prepared potato mixture over it. Dip this side into batter. Put on tawa and cook this side till golden brown. Apply butter on other side and cook until crisp and golden. Cut into halves.

    Apply chopped onion, tomatoes and coriander leaves over it. Apply green chutney and red garlic chutney. Sprinkle chat masala and lot of nylon Sev. Enjoy.
