Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsraw rice
  2. 1/2 cupcooked rice
  3. 1/2 cupflour
  4. 1 tbspyeast
  5. 1 cupsugar
  6. 1 tspsalt
  7. 1 tbspbaking powder
  8. Vegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and Soak rice for 4 hrs or overnight

  2. 2

    After soaking,drain water and rinse.

    Then you blend the soaked rice together with cooked rice,flour and a tsp of yeast until smooth gradually adding water.

    Cover and allow to rise for 8 hrs or overnight

  5. 5

    Add the remaining 2 tsp of yeast,salt and sugar and mix together.Set aside and allow to rise in a warm place for an hour

  6. 6

    Heat your skillet/tanda in hausa, add little oil and fry.
