Date bar Cookies

Cream butter, egg and vanilla flavor, add the flour and knead to form a dough, place on a leather and deflate in to rectangle shape.

This is the date paste i used.

Scoop out some date paste and mold to a rope like shape, place at the edge of the dough.

Roll over and cut in to bars using a knife.

Just like this.

Arrange on a baking tray and bake until golden brown.

No need to add sugar when making the dough because of the natural sweetness of the date.
