Its an Indian dish serve with Dosa and Idli. I made it yesterday for my mom and dad iftar dawat. I made it with moong Daal but my mom told me Nani used to make this with Arhar daal and add some coconut milk also for some creaminess but she served with rice.

Ingredients

6 persons
  1. 1 cupmoong daal
  2. Vegetables (on your choice, i put bottle guard (loki) carrots, Okra (bhindi), Kairi)
  3. 1 tspturmeric powder
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 2.5 TbsSambar powder
  6. Little bit Imli
  7. For Tarka
  8. Red chili dry
  9. leavesCurry
  10. Mustard seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Take moong daal and pour water. Add turmeric powder and put it on stove and cook it till it completely blend. Add vegetables and cook more.

    Add sambar powder and salt and mix it well. Cook more for 15-20 mins. Check consistency, if it is too thick, add water.

    Cook for a while

    Give Tarka with red chilies, mustard seed and curry leaves. Serve with Dosa
