Sweet potato and chips chaat Sweet potato and chips chaat
Chaat is a bold and colourful snack that is a “must” have for iftar. It is made almost on daily basis with some variations.Chaat is a popular street food snack that combines the crunch of chips with bold flavours of chaat masala, fresh herbs, chutneys, vegetables, spices and lemon juice. The best thing is that it is easy to prepare and takes little time, which makes it ideal for a weekday when you are too exhausted to stand by a stove after a lengthy fast.A humble blend of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavours, this Sweet Potato and Chips Chaat, on the other hand, is different from the regular aloo channa chaat (Chickpeas and Potato Chaat). Here sweet potato replaces the regular boiled potatoes and there are no chickpeas either. This recipe is simple. Chop the boiled, peeled sweet potato and mix it with onion, cilantro and green chillies along with salt, chilli powder, cumin powder, chaat masala and lemon juice. Just combine everything and just before serving, crush chips and add. Enjoy! In this recipe, everything is balanced – sweetness of the sweet potato, faint pungency of chaat masala, and tanginess of lemon juice and crunch of chips. That’s the flavor pairing, you would absolutely love. This is a super quick, low-fat, nutritious snack to enjoy. Sarvat Hanif -

Sweet Potato and Apricot Simmered with Apple Juice (Macrobiotic) Sweet Potato and Apricot Simmered with Apple Juice (Macrobiotic)
I cooked this because I wanted to use up the sweet potatoes I had. I was thinking to make a dish with citrus flavour, but I found apple juice in my refrigerator, so I came up with this recipe, with great results. Of course, you can cook with orange juice instead. This is delicious even after it cools, so it is good for a packed lunch, too! I used organic apple juice. No particular hint! Mix all the ingredients and cook over the heat. Please make sure to use a drop lid. Recipe by Ro-zuminto cookpad.japan -

Easy Microwaved Fresh Orange Jello Easy Microwaved Fresh Orange Jello
I wanted to try making a hard jello using only orange juice (without water).I think adding just a tiny bit of sugar makes it taste better, but the amount I add is really small. But no sugar at all is perfectly okay!Instead of orange juice, you can try using your favorite juice. I make this with freshly squeezed orange juice, but you can also buy 100% orange juice from the stores. Try to enjoy this with delicious juice if you can. I eat this a lot on hot days as a refreshing treat, and since it contains gelatin, there's also collagen and protein to add some nutrition for your health. Recipe by Spain cookpad.japan -
Soft and Wobbly Orange Jelly Soft and Wobbly Orange Jelly
I received 100% orange juice as a gift, so I tried to make this recipe with it! !I love firm jelly, but I made a soft and wobby version this time. The juice should be at least 20℃ / 68°F when you start making this. Microwave it a little bit in the winter to warm it up.When you add the juice to the gelatin, hold the juice with your left hand, and stir it with a spoon in your right hand. Please try making this with other kinds of juice.Be sure to adjust the amount of sugar accordingly.
