Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsRice
  2. 1 kgChicken
  3. 1 tspCumin seeds
  4. 1 tspCoriander powder
  5. 1 tbspChilli flakes
  6. 1 tbspGinger garlic
  7. 1 tbspWhole mix garam masala
  8. Coriander leaves 3 tbsp
  9. 2Onions
  10. 3Tomatoes
  11. 2-3Green chillies
  12. 1/2 cupYoghurt
  13. 1/4 cupFried onion
  14. 1 pinchYellow colour
  15. 1 pinchSaffron
  16. 3/4 cupOil
  17. Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in a pan.

  2. 2

    Fry onion till translucent.

  3. 3

    Add in chicken,ginger,garlic,tomatoes and all the spices.

  4. 4

    Cook till tomatoes are tender and mashed and chicken is tender.

    Add in yoghurt and bhoono well.

  6. 6

    Boil the rice.

  7. 7

    Layer chicken and rice together.

  8. 8

    Add in coriander,fried onion,saffron and colour.

    Cook covered on dum for 15 minutes.

    Serve hot.
